If you have a large format display that is running SmartTV software, you can configure the display to use the DC Media CMS Server as a content and playlist source. For SmartTV's, no PC is required for playback, the SmartTV has an internal digital signage player built into the hardware. Once connected to a CMS Server, the SmartTV display will download the playlist and content and display it from internal storage. The following diagram illustrates this concept:
