To display data from a centralized source, you can use a hosted storage facility like Dropbox to store the data file used in a Digital Sign.


Step 1.


Upload your data file to Dropbox and get a share URL for the file:



Step 2.


Create your Digital Sign, add the required text fields or table and past the shared URL into the source URL. Note: Change the dl=0 parameter at the end of the URL to dl=1, this will cause Dropbox to serve the actual file instead of a download page.



IMPORTANT


Be sure to set a longer reload timer, anything less than 10 minutes could cause your players to consume a large amount of bandwidth.
