Playing videos directly from YouTube will have a high impact on your bandwidth, particularly if you play the same videos many times per day on multiple players. If you are the content owner and are not violating the YouTube terms of service, it is our recommendation that you download the video as an MPEG4 file using Mozilla Firefox and the Download YouTube Videos as MP4 extension:
1. Download and install Mozilla Firefox using this link: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/
2. Once you have installed FireFox, run it and then download and install the extension using this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-youtube/
3. Now browse to your YouTube video.
4. Download the video by clicking on the Download link:
Once you have downloaded the video as an MPEG-4 file, simply add it as an asset using your DC Media Scheduler. Please read the codec requirements for playing MPEG-4 videos.
